I don't see why you can't wear lipstick ^_^ I had a friend from a taster week at university who had a lipring in, and she wore lipstick pretty much every time I saw her. I think when you first get it pierced you'd be better off just getting one of the little studs anyway (apparently it causes less trauma and therefore less scarring when you've first had it done), so that wouldn't really get in the way of lipstick.
By the time you've had it in long enough to be able to swap it for a ring, then you'd probably have to take it out and put it back in to do the lipstick I'm afraid...I don't think you'd have to worry so much about the piercing healing up superquick though, like you would if you had a lipring in straight away.
I hope some of that actually makes sense o_o makes sense to me anyway, lol
