Default Your Favourite Book!

Apologies if this has been done before!

Write the name of your favourite book (and the authors!) and give us a short description of why you like it so much!

(no spoilers though!)

1984 - George Orwell

I love political thrillers, especially dystopian ones. This book sets the bar in my opinion for it's genre, it's well written, fluid, and things don't play out how you expect them to. The characters aren't spectacular, there isn't anything special about them, so you can relate to them, and the environment in which the novel is set.

If you like movies like 'V for Vendetta' or 'Watchmen' you'll like this book

The Catcher in the Rye. And also, The Greatest Generation. I thought I wouldn't like nonfiction, but it changed my outlook on WW2 entirely.

The Warrior's Heir by Cinda Williams Chima, because it combines modern with medieval

Maximum Ride by James Patterson

I love this book I highly suggest it to everyone that loves actions and things like that!
I love it that you think something else is going to happen but the opposites happens, it keeps you wanting to read more, and you want to find out more!
It's a book that isn't so hard to follow but sometimes you would have to pay attention, so it also helps me with my reading skills which I like that ^^

Wayne Thomas Batson = The Door Within Trilogy

Really good series, took me a week to read all 3 books! and they are 400 pages each! Loved it! Knights in shining armor, parallel universe, true love, real virtues... All in all, very good book!

I have no favorites. Only ones I dislike, since there are many good books, and only a few crappy ones *cough*Twilight*cough*.
