Well yeah, it hurts. It's going to hurt for a while. It'll be tender when you first get it.

There was a girl at my school who kissed her boyfriend and their liprings locked. She got frightened, pulled away, and a chunk of her lip came out. So... they're not 100% safe.
As for infection, just make sure that if you get it done, your ring is made of precious metals (or however you call it). Apparently, it's easier to clean and not as harsh to your body and whatnot. And make sure the piercing dude is a professional and uses sterile equipment.

Ahaha, yeah I saw the girl with these nasty stitches on her lip and my friends told me what happened. Afterwards, I made sure that when I pierced my boyfriend's lip it would be on the same side as mine so that when we face each other it would be on opposite sides.

For me, it's a lot easier to do my own piercings. I don't trust anyone else. But the main reason I began was because I wasn't allowed to get any piercings other than my lobes. (oops, hehe)

ummm well i gave myself snake bits but i was forced to take them out or my dad would go crazy...it depands on u...if u feel pain or not it..for me it hurted alittle..but not much.....matters to u tho.....

if you cant get a pearcing, cause your parents wont let you, i know a good way of making it look like you have a pearcing, example i went into the city with it, everyone thought it was real!

r u a dude or a chick?? it doesnt rly matter it luks hot on both...snake bites luk better but i think it luks gd wen u get ur top lip pierced..it called sumthing..it starts with an "m"..i dnt no but it doesnt hurt hardl at all. I say go 4 it!!!!
