How does it feel to walk alone?
It was me you left standing in the dark.
Here is to all the times you took everything away from me and threw it on the ground. Heres to all the times you judged me instead of being my friend. Here is to all the opportunities you made me leave behind. Here is to all the friendships I laid down for you. Here is to all the restless nights of lies you have put on my shoulders. Here is to all the times you have caused me pain. Here is to all the insecurities you have given me. Here is too all the scars you have left behind. Here is to all the times I trusted you, even when I knew I shouldn’t have. And here is to all the times that I no longer stand alone.
How does it feel to be the one to stand in the dark?
