Yep, since i like taking photo's of stuff with my Digital Camera in my mobile (Sony ericcssoooon CYBER SHOT with 8 Mega pixels :3 ) i decided to make one here.

Post here, and the artists of the forum will gladly help you by explaining things to you, they don't know everything, but the majority of them can help out with the problems you might have.

If you want help with a drawing, please post a picture of it, otherwise we can't help you!

Be aware, that if you don't take criticism well, then you probably shouldn't post images in this thread, while your work might get critiqued, it will be done in a fair and supportive manner! :)
After all, we learn from our mistakes and the thoughts of others can do wonders to our work!

Feel free to criticize some of the more experienced members work too! They want it as much as you do! :)

First of all I would like to take the time to inform those who are not aware, that I am a student at the University of Creative Arts studying for a degree.
I'm going to be uploading drawings into this thread that I've done during my time at the university.

Because I am expected to, this thread may include life drawing work (nude drawing) this drawings will probably show certain body parts some would consider unsightly, and, at other times there may be drawings of a different nature that are also nude, but these ones won't contain aforementioned body parts, as it is a wholly different context :P

If you are offended by the site of naked drawings, you can leave now.

Chances are though, you're just as perverted as the rest of humanity and you're going to look anyway.

My thread won't contain naked drawings all the time though, that was just a warning, it will, by the end of these three years, be packed with hundreds of drawings spanning so many things, of different variety, style and influence, and I encourage you to do the same in a thread of your own.

I'm not a master, but I'll help you when I can, if you want some advice, post your drawing into the advice thread and someone will come along to help you out! :)

Some simple rules to help this particular board run smoothly...

Rule 1
If you've looked already, you'll notice that members have created their own threads dedicated to their art.
If you want to post, you should do the same, don't create a new thread everytime you do a drawing, put them all in one big thread so we can see all your work! :)
(just like a big scrapbook)

Sadly, I will be deleting multiple threads by one user, it clogs the board up too fast.

You can create seperate threads for seperate topics.
For example, a user can have a photography thread, a drawing thread etc etc...

Rule 2
This is very important, if you do not want people to critique your art work, please say so at the very start of your thread, if you don't say so, and you get all stroppy because someone dosen't like a drawing, it is your own fault.
If you are commenting on someone else's work, be constructive, if you dont like something, say why, and suggest an improvement, be critical but be fair, peoples feelings are easily hurt! but some good advice can go a long way! :)

Rule 3
Post as often as you can :)
Doing as much work as possible, and viewing others will make you a better artist than any other way.

On a seperate note entirely...

All good artists, including the really good ones on this forum will agree that the more you expose yourself to your favourite field of art the better you will become at it...
I highly recommend visitng as many galleries as you can or checking out their websites.
If possible you should join an online art community.
DeviantArt is fine, but it isn't exactly pro-active.

Find a random art community that you can join, whether it is online or in the real world, the more you immerse yourself in art the better you will become...
