But when my parents divorced I was like..... four.
I think.
Some where when I was between the ages of two-five.
So I wasnt as opinionated and into my awesome fasion style back then.

even if your mom has legal custidy, isnt up to you where you want to live??

i really hate it when people flip out on you for cutting. it makes me feel even worse and i end up doing it even more. and therapists just piss me off with the way they think they're helping sssoo much and how much they think i need it. my mom says the next time i do it im going to the retreat. >

ya but if u wanna change who has legal custody u cn always talk to ur mum and normaly courts go in favour of the kid cause alot of bad shit happens to them at the time cause of the emotional stuff.

Right, sooo, My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. She is very against the emo thing. Examples: 1) She thinks Burt McCracken(The Used) looks like Charles Manson(Charles Manson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia In case you dont know who he is) 2) She hates Nirvana because Kurt Cobain killed himself then to make her hate that more, he left a little girl 3) She thinks Frank Iero looks weird. Then my dad is very very very very very open minded. =] So I was thinking I could move in with my dad but my mom has leagal coustidy(spelling?) of me. Plus my mom would say "No" and not have a reason why I could not move in with him.
But any ways I think that had to be explained to get to my point. =]
So I used to be a cutter but I stopped for about a year and 4 months, I sliped up tonight becasue my mom was chastising my tase of music(I get it ever day) and I just freaked out and found my blades.

They say that anything is linked to a "cause and effect". I know my "effect" is cutting but I think my "cause" is my mom.
What do I do?

Both my parents are very strict muslims.
But I feel as though because of the strictness of their religion and the rules they choose to obide by that keep me kinda locked in a lot of the time cause me to get depressed. Parental Claustrophobia I call it. But I find that like talking to someone (ranting) to someone instead of cutting is SO much better and to a certain extent it does work.
I mean obviously you feel as though this won't go away. But the worse thing that could happen is your folks could find out from either catching you, or spotting it. That'd just freak them out totally. I mean parents very rarely agree with anything you do. The best thing to do in my opinnion is find a friend/friends or even just here. Someone who You can just talk to when you feel like cutting.
