who else on here is veggie or vegan??!!
I was vegetarian for like a year and now im vegan. it was a lot easier than i thought it would be and its definitely worth it

Oh, does everyone else act "dumb" around you?
When I go out to eat with people, they'll look at the menu
and point at random items and just be like
"uhh, chicken nuggets; can you eat that?" etc.

It happens to me all the time :|

YES im like..chicken..thats meat. i know some people who call themselves vegetarians but they eat chicken. i used to eat seafood...well actually i do eat sushi but thats it.
And sometimes people will apologize for eating like a hamburger or something around me..its weird..lol

I'm a veggie too.
I'm glad my school offers a vegetarian lunch, I would be screwed.
So do any of you eat tofu?
I hate when I get it somewhere and they cook it wrong and the texture is all messed up.
I'm just like, that is so gross.

Yeah, people are really weird to me about it.
People apologize to me too.
And I'm just like "I'm not the one eating it, it's okay".

I don't eat seafood; I never ate it much before I was a veggie,
so I decided not to carry it over.

The main reason why I became a veggie is because I have a circulatory system/heart condition which runs big time in my family. I started showing signs of it at an early age, and once I became a teenager I was having big problems. So the doctor said if I stop eating meat, it could help my symptoms, as well as help my longevity.

My nephew is 6 and he wants to be a veggie like me.
but his mom won't let him, haha

And no, I don't really eat much tofu,
mostly herb type of deals.
Unless Morning Star Farms has tofu in their products :]

lol thats cute. my family thinks im weird for being veggie.

i love tofu..as long as they cook it right. i like making tofu sandwiches.

my school has some things to eat...mostly just salad and chips...maybe they have tomato soup sometimes.

That sucks that your school doesn't offer more.
They have veggie burgers, but also salads, and usually some Chinese stir fry with tofu. It's not that good, but I deal. Haha.
